Vote 2012!!

It is widely understood that our current entitlements, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and the vast welfare beurocracies have already put this country on course toward insolvency and a fate similar to what Greece faces today.

But the daunting thing to consider is nearly one half of American voters will vote to reelect a president which will hasten our financial demise by making permanent a totally unaffordable entitlement, Obamacare.

This election will determine if we in the “baby boomer generation,” will be the first in American history to leave the country in a worse condition that the country we inherited.

If there can be a greatest generation, be that be our founders who fought and defeated the most powerful military of their era or the World War II generation who won a world war on two fronts on opposite sides of the planet, there can be a worst generation. That would be us. If we vote for permanent decline, we deserve its terrible results.

Sadly our children and grandchildren do not deserve these results and will rightly blame us for the loss of American greatness.

Larry Kelley’s life was utterly changed by 9/11. On the day after the attacks, on his way to work, he was struck by the sudden realization that World War III had commenced. Mr. Kelley has written scores of columns on the dangers of western complacency.

There is NO excuse for those of this generation who refuse personal sacrifice in order to pay their own way. “Neither a borrower nor a lender be.” What collateral do you think will be confiscated if we should ever default?
