In the Islamic Hadiths which are elaborations on the Koran, the statement, “War is Deceit,” is attributed to the Prophet Mohammad by his most reliable biographer, Muhammad al Bukhari (810-870). Islam is the only major religion which venerates deceit and proudly holds it up as a central pillar of its orthodoxy. While the Obama administration continues to participate in the charade that are the endless nuclear talks with Iranians, it is finally acting as if it knows that virtually anything the Iranian regime says is likely to be a lie. This is very good news the arrival of which is better late than never. Deceit is a now a game that the West must also play well.
Last week senior unnamed officials and or former high ranking spooks leaked to the New York Times that the CIA, the Israeli government, and a US firm, Idaho National Laboratory, a subsidiary of the Energy Department, had been conducting cutting-edge cyber warfare on the Iranians’ peaceful nuclear enrichment facilities.
Earlier this year stories had surfaced that the computers running the Iranian nuclear sites had been infected by a virus called Stuxnet. While no one in the West then seemed to know how damaging was the attack or who took credit for the infestation, there was widespread speculation that the US or the Israelis or perhaps both were its author.
What has seemingly changed in the wake of these revelations, is that no one in the Obama Administration has taken to a podium to “distance themselves” from these revelations. This is good because it may signal that they will “man up” in the face of the Iranian threat. The cyber war plan, code named Olympic Games, was the stuff of a Tom Clancy thriller. It revealed that the allied conspirators, like far-advanced extraterrestrials remotely impregnating lowly earthlings, began by inserted so-called beacons into the computers at the Iranian nuclear facilities. Beaconing is an ultra-high-tech method that cyber warriors use to “electronically map and monitor computer systems they infiltrate.”
News has also surfaced this year that a number of high-ranking Iranian nuclear scientists have been assassinated in Tehran. While no has taken credit for these operations of incredible daring, few doubt that it was the Israelis. Similarly, once the mapping of nuclear computers described above was completed and the targets selected, the Stuxnet virus was introduced into the Iranian facility via a flash drive, that is, by a mole placed inside their most secret weapons factories.
Like the rich lecherous movie producer in the original Godfather movie who awakes from his drug induced sleep to find in his bed the severed head of his prized race horse, it is a good thing that the Iranians now know that the conspirators, Israelis and US special operations forces, are in their midst. That they can penetrate their inner sanctum, can kill their scientists in their capital city and infiltrate their precious nuclear facilities.
It is good news, if it is true, that more manly, less “capitulationist” heads are now beginning to prevail inside the Obama inner sanctum. Because if the world’s leading sponsor of Islamic terrorism and the capital of suicidal extremism come to possess nuclear weapons, it will present a danger to Western Civilization that is without precedent.
